The Cat, also known as Gina G, bought her first set of decks at the age of 18 in New Zealand, when drum and bass was hitting the scene.
With roots in Victoria, Canada, Gina G learned to spin at outdoor festivals like Soundwave. She was quickly shaking up the full moon parties in Whistler, and became a resident DJ at Tommy Africa's Nightclub in town.
Her travels have taken her around the world where she’s picked up her wild melange of rare music that promises a packed dance floor, whatever the occasion.
Gina has a passion for everything with big bass -- from dubstep to drum and bass to weird minimal techno, dub and glitchy funk. The Cat’s specialty is wompy figdet and bouncy breaks. This is a girl that lives to have fun and is guaranteed to make you want to party.
